Who Can Get a T-Visa?

You may qualify for a T-Visa if:

You were a victim of human trafficking for sex or labor
You are physically present in the U.S. due to trafficking
You have complied with law enforcement (or are under 18 or too traumatized to do so)
You would suffer extreme hardship if removed from the U.S.

What is a T-Visa psychological evaluation?

A T-Visa psychological evaluation is a written clinical report created by a licensed therapist. It documents the emotional and psychological impact of your trafficking experience.

This report helps support your T-Visa application by showing how the trauma has affected your life and why remaining in the U.S. is important for your safety and recovery.

What types of trafficking qualify for a T-Visa?

T-Visas are designed for people who have been victims of:

Labor trafficking (forced work, debt bondage, exploitation)
Sex trafficking (commercial sexual exploitation or abuse)
Other situations involving force, fraud, or coercion

You must also show that you're cooperating with law enforcement (or are excused due to age or trauma).

Do I have to talk about everything that happened?

No. You are always in control of what you share. We use a trauma-informed approach, meaning we go at your pace and focus on understanding how the crime has affected your well-being. You do not have to relive every detail for the evaluation to be valid.

What is the cost of the evaluation and report?

We offer one price for the evaluation and report--the cost is $850. This includes one up to 90-minute assessment with a licensed therapist and writing the report for the court.

If you need the evaluation conducted in another language, there may be an additional fee of $150. This is for situations where a bilingual therapist is unavailable and an interpreter will be required.

How long will it take to schedule the immigration evaluation?

Once you are ready to get started we will ask you to fill out some client paperwork and schedule an appointment for the therapists conduct the assessment.

In some cases, we will have a therapist available to talk to you the same day you complete the intake forms.

How long will it take to get my report?

Reports are completed within 7 business days, but can be expedited for delivery within 48 hours for an added fee.
